Babylonian Chronicle
The Babylonian Chronicles are series of cuneiform tablets recording major events in Babylonian history. These Chronicles are a significant part of the early development of ancient historiography. The Babylonian Chronicles were written over a period of time, from the reign of Nabonassar (747-734 BC) up to the Parthian Period (c. 120 BC), by Babylonian astronomers ("Chaldaeans"), who probably used the Astronomical Diaries as their source.
